Company Pricing

Priced per technician,
not per seat sold.

Companies buy either a discounted block of Career Pack seats, or an annual roster license. Every company key opens all five courses — TTT-1, TTT-2, A&L Specialty, Foreman and ARC Specialty. There is no single-course company key.

Option 1 — crew seat packs

All five courses, a specific group

Each seat is a distinct Career Pack key bound to one technician and opening all five courses. Once activated, a key runs twelve months from that activation. Hold a few back for new hires — an unclaimed key stays assignable until the order closes eighteen months after purchase. A key handed out within six months of purchase still gets its full year; one handed out later runs until the order closes.

Option 2 — annual roster license

Every course, every tech on the roster

At 25 technicians and up this is almost always the cheaper structure, and it stops you buying course by course as people move up. Covers TTT-1, TTT-2, A&L Specialty, Foreman and ARC for twelve months.

$9925–49 techs / yr
$8550–99 techs / yr
$72100–249 techs / yr
$60250+ techs / yr
Worth the arithmetic At 50 technicians the roster license is $4,250/yr for all five courses — about $850 per course across the crew. Buying Career Pack seats for the same 50 people would take at least three orders (a seat pack tops out at 24 keys) and cost at least $6,250 at $125 a key — one-time keys that each run 12 months from activation, with no renewal and no single term for the whole roster.

Above 500 technicians we write a master agreement. Branding setup is normally waived on a roster license.

In-person climber and rescue training is a different product from exam prep and both have their place — we are not a substitute for hands-on rescue training.

Not included, so you can budget for it The NWSA exam fee is $274 per certification, paid to NWSA, not to us. A retake is another $274 and applications expire six months from payment. Nothing on this page changes that — we prepare technicians for the exam, we do not administer it.
One exam fee may already be funded AT&T donated $75,000 to NWSA to cover Foreman Certification exam fees. NWSA announced that TTT-2 certified technicians sitting the Foreman exam for the first time are eligible for one-time sponsorship, applied with a coupon code when the exam application is paid. If you are moving technicians up to Foreman, that is $274 a head you may not have to budget. Funding is finite and first-come, and the announcement dates from February 2025 — confirm current availability with NWSA before you build it into a bid. Details: how the NWSA Foreman sponsorship works.

Stripe invoice payable on receipt, by card or ACH bank transfer, with your PO number printed on the face of it. Seats are issued the moment the invoice clears. We do not offer net terms or credit.

Renewals

Roster licenses are annual. We contact you before the term ends — nothing auto-charges without a conversation.

Straight answers

Questions buyers ask

Is this an official NWSA course?

No. It is independent exam prep, not affiliated with or endorsed by NWSA. Completing a course grants no certification: a technician is certified only by passing NWSA's exam, taken through NWSA Online Remote Proctoring at nws-a.org. The Training Milestone Award says so on its face.

What does the NWSA exam cost on top of this?

$274 per exam, paid to NWSA — the same for all five certifications. A retake is another $274, and an application expires six months after payment. NWSA's fees are never on our invoice.

A technician left, or typed his email wrong. Is that seat gone?

No. A key locks to the first email that activates it. Email support@nwsastudyguide.com from an address on the order with the order number and the seat, and we release it — usually the same day. Keys nobody has claimed stay with the order until you hand them out.

How long does a key last?

Twelve months from the day the technician activates it. A seat-pack order closes eighteen months after purchase, so a key handed out within six months gets its full year and one handed out later runs until the order closes. A roster license ends with its annual term.

What do I see as the manager?

Every seat: who claimed it, lessons completed, the last practice-exam score and when they last worked, with a CSV export and a printable training record. Progress is visible to the company that bought the seat, so tell your technicians, and put a line in your handbook.

How do we pay? Can you bill against a PO?

By card at checkout, or by Stripe invoice payable on receipt — card or ACH bank transfer — with your PO number printed on it. Seats are issued as soon as payment clears; ACH usually takes 3–5 business days. We do not offer net terms or credit.

Are the courses really in Spanish and Russian?

Yes. All five courses — lessons, quizzes, flashcards and practice exams — are in English, Spanish and Russian, and each technician can switch language mid-session.

Is there a limit on practice exams?

No. Practice quizzes and the full-length exam mode can be taken as often as the technician likes while his key runs, and each course holds enough questions for at least three full NWSA-length exams before any question repeats.

Can we see it before we buy?

Yes, without talking to anyone:
